Today, I’m Letting Go
Letting go of absolute control is hard, especially when we don’t have much control to hang on to. It’s frustrating at times being 15. We’re old enough to do things alone but not either. Can’t drive, still have to have our parents to move us along when what we hope for…is independence. It’s like when we were little; knee high. The frustration of wanting to do but teetering on the edge of ability and inability. So for the most part, we end up hanging on to someone’s knees and crying. But today, I’m letting go. I’m gonna try to make the best of what I have and let others help me become independent. TODAY, I LET GO!
